I am privileged to inform you that a major award for Excellence in Research in Glycobiology named as " PROF. AVADHESHA SUROLIA AWARD IN GLYCOBIOLOGY " has been instituted by the Indian Institute of Science Alumni Association(IIScAA). The award amount is Rs. 300,000 + Rs. 100,000 for travel and hotel accommodation. The details of the award are given in the attached flyer. I would be grateful if you, as a prominent scientist, could bring it to the attention of glycobiologists and fellow members of IGO.
The PROCEDURE for NOMINATION is fairly simple. Any active researcher in the area of Glycobiology can nominate a distinguished Glycobiologist including a statement in the letter of recommendation stating the outstanding contributions made by the nominee together with an attachment containing ten most significant publications by the nominee during his/her entire carrier. In addition, please attach the most recent CV and a list of publications to date.
The DEADLINE for the receipt of Nomination is April 15, 2025.
